This chapter describes user tools in the Copier/Document Server Features
menu. For details on how to access Copier/Document Server Features, see “Ac-
cessing User Tools”.

This section describes the user tools in the General Features menu under Copi-
er/Document Server Features.
Default settings are shown in bold type.

❖ Auto Image Density Priority

You can set whether Auto Image Density is “On” or “Off” when the machine
is turned on, reset, or modes are cleared.
• Text

The default setting is On.

• Text  /  Photo

The default setting is On.

• Photo

The default setting is Off.

• Pale

The default setting is On.

• Generation Copy

The default setting is On.

❖ Copy Quality

You can adjust the copy quality level for each original type.
• Text

The default setting is Normal.

• Text  /  Photo

The default setting is Normal.

• Photo

The default setting is Printed Photo.

• Pale

The default setting is Normal.

• Generation Copy

The default setting is Normal.
