WebAdmin doesn't just protect against viruses and worms

and Trojans, but also combats new Internet threats such

as spyware, adware, dialers, hoaxes, hacking tools, jokes...

providing the most global protection against security risks.

The innovative management system behind WebAdmin

allows administrators to install, configure and monitor

security across all computers in the company remotely via

the Internet, easing installation, maintenance and support

workloads.

WebAdmin allows multiple security policies to be defined

including the option to organize computers into groups

with common policies.  Installation is carried out by groups

and configuration changes to the group are pushed out

automatically to all corresponding computers without

administrator intervention.

Administrators can centrally manage and control security

across all company systems, including laptops and

computers in branches outside the local network.

WebAdmin’s flexible reports give administrators an up-to-

date, global vision of the virus and update status of all

computers throughout the company, allowing them to

define the most appropriate security settings at any time.

WebAdmin updates automatically without user or

administrator intervention.

Updates are generated at least once a day -or more

frequently if configured by the administrator-, keeping all

computers protected against even the very latest IT threats.

The client installed by WebAdmin on protected computers

is much lighter than others on the market, minimizing

therefore the impact on system performance.

WebAdmin does not require server resources or databases,

reducing the total cost of ownership of the solution.

Browser: Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.

Hardware: 30 MB CPU.  Processor 486/66 MHz.  or faster.

64 MB RAM. 800x600 pixels, 256 colors.

Ports: 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS) opened for the updates.

6502, 6510, 6511 and 6512 with P2P-technologies enabled.

PCs: Windows XP/2000 Pro/NT and Me/98/95 (with Winsock2).

Servers: Windows 2003/2000 Server and Adv. Server/NT.

Internet Explorer security settings: Medium or lower

during the installation process.

Computers with Windows XP SP2: Pop-up blocker disabled

during installation.

Installation tokens: For computers in the local network and

those outside the network connected to the Internet.

Remote deployment: Only for computers in the local network.

Windows NT/2000/XP to access the console. ActiveX controls

enabled.  In Windows 95/98/Me enable “Remote Administration”.
