Universal Serial Bus (USB)
The i55sr phone supports both RS232 communications and USB
communications (with USB master devices) allowing it to communicate with
USB capable laptop and desktop computers. The i55sr phone will automatically
detect whether an RS232 or USB cable has been connected to it and will utilize
the appropriate protocol. No other action is required in order to select between
USB or RS232 serial communications.
