You may listen to audio CDs when the CDRW drive is not connected 
to a computer (in stand-alone mode), 

 

♦  Turn off power to your computer and to the CD-RW drive.   

♦  Connect the headphone to the headphone jack at the side of 

the drive. 

♦  Re-connect the power to the CD-RW drive only. 

♦  Insert an audio CD into the CD-RW drive. 

♦  Press the Play Button once to start the audio playback.  

♦  The control buttons (Play,  Prev,  Next) on the front-top of the 

drive are active only when the drive is used as a stand-alone. 

♦  The volume control knob located at the side of the drive is used 

to control the volume.
