BASIC MEMORY PROGRAMMING
You can store up to 10 numbers in memory and dial
those numbers quickly.
Storing a Memory
1. Press [STORE] to enter memory store. The ‘STORE’
will be displayed on the left corner of CID display.
2. Press the keypad to enter the number that you want
to program. The CID display will show the number
that you dialled on the keypad. If you dial a number
over 14 digits long, it will show the last 14 digits
only.
3. Press [STORE]. The ‘MEM’ will be displayed on the
right corner of CID display.
4. Press the memory location (0 to 9) on the keypad
to store the number. The CID display will then return
to the ‘Answer-Ready’ mode, and display the total
call counter and new call counter.
Repeat the above steps to store a different number in
the same speed dial location, or to store a new number
in a different speed dial location.
NOTES:
• Pressing [REDIAL] will place a 4-second Pause into
the number. Which may be required for accessing
special phone services.
• If no key is pressed within 20 seconds, the CID
display will return to ‘Answer-Ready’ mode.
Copy from the Caller ID to Telephone
Memory
1. Press [REVIEW  ] or [REVIEW  ] until the Caller
ID memory location to be copied appears on the
CID display. Press [STORE] twice to enter memory
store. The  ‘MEM’ will be displayed on the right
corner.
2. Press the memory location (0 to 9) on the keypad
to store the number. The CID display will then return
to the ‘Answer-Ready’ mode, and display the total
call counter and new call counter.
Memory dialing
1. Pick up the handset to make your call.
2. To dial a number stored in memory, press [MEM]
button and then press the memory location number
(between 0 to 9).
CALLER ID OPERATION
Received Call
If only the caller’s phone number is received, the CID
display shows the caller’s phone number with the time
and date it was received. The ‘NEW’ icon turns on and
NEW CALL LED blinks.
If both the caller’s name and phone number are
received, the CID display shows the caller’s name and
phone number, with the time and date it was received.
The ‘NEW’ icon turns on and NEW CALL LED blinks.
Caller ID (Transmission) Error
If an incorrect, invalid or incomplete Caller ID signal is
received, the CID display shows ‘-LINE ERROR-’.
Caller ID Private Call (Blocked)
If the name and number are not available due to the
caller’s restriction, the CID display shows ‘-PRIVATE
CALL-’ with the time and date received. The ‘NEW’ icon
turns on and NEW CALL LED blinks.
Last Number Redial
Automatically redials the last number called. If the
number was busy or unanswered:
a. Hang up the handset on the base (or depress the
hook switch).
b. Lift the handset (or release the hook switch).
c. Press [REDIAL] once.
Flash
The FLASH button can be used to obtain a new dial
tone after ending a call. The FLASH button is also a
useful feature for special telephone services such as
Call Waiting and Three-Way Calling.
NOTE: These special telephone services must be
subscribed to separately from your local phone
company.
Pause
Whether you have Tone or Pulse service, you can insert
a 4-second PAUSE into the dialing or storing of a
number into memory in order to access custom and
telebanking services, long distance, etc. Press
[REDIAL] at the desired point in the number. Press
[REDIAL] again if an additional 4 seconds is needed.
Caller Timer
This unit is designed with a clock timer to count the
off-hook time in seconds, up to one hour. The clock
display will appear when the handset is lifted off the
base and any key is dialed.
When you pick up the handset to answer incoming
call, the timer starts counting up immediately.
Note:  If you lift the handset and don’t dial any number,
the timer will appear after 10 seconds.
Caller ID Out of Area (Data Not Available)
If the name and number are not available, the CID
display  will show ‘-UNAVAILABLE-’ with the call’s
time and date. The ‘NEW’ icon turns on and NEW
CALL LED blinks.
NOTE: If no key is pressed within 20 seconds, the CID
display will show the ‘Answer-Ready’ mode, and display
the total call counter and new call counter.
VIEW THE CALLER ID MEMORY
If you have new calls (NEW CALL LED is blinking).
Press [REVIEW  ] or [REVIEW  ] to read all of the
most recent calls. The NEW CALL# will decrease.
Once all the new calls have been read, ‘END OF NEW
CALL’ will be displayed.
Press [REVIEW  ] to view the oldest calls, or press
[REVIEW  ] to view the most recent calls.
After you view all the calls in memory, the CID display
will show ‘END OF LIST’.
NOTES:
1. The NEW CALL LED will blink until all the new Caller
ID data has been reviewed.
2. If the 
RPT
 icon is turned on, you have received
multiple NEW calls from the same number.
