The GBIC and data SFP modules for the Cisco ONS Family are compatible with the IEEE 802.3, Single-Byte 
Command Code Sets CONnection architecture (SBCON) Rev2.3 [ESCON], ANSI INCITS 352-2002 Information 
technology – Fibre Channel – Physical Interfaces (FC-PI) Rev. 13 [1xFC and 2xFC], and support the digital 
diagnostic functions specified in the SFF-8742 MSA.
