Chapter 7: Configuring VLANs on the SSR
Because port-based VLANs are used for all the different types of protocol traffic,
Configuration Expert automatically selects all the Protocol Binding options described
in the following table. You cannot change these selections.

Add a port to the VLAN by doing the following:

In the Available Port list, double-click the module on which the port you want to
add is located. From the list of available ports that appears, select the port that
you want to add.

Option
Description
IP
Specifies that the VLAN is for IP traffic.
IPX
Specifies that the VLAN is for IPX traffic.
Other
Specifies that the VLAN is for bridged protocols.
