– contains installation, configuration, and management 
instructions for the ATX. It also describes how to use the Local Console 
Manager (LCM), which is a non-intelligent terminal interface to the unit.

This manual describes the software interface between the NMS and the ATX. 
This is relevant for a unit running Version 1.0 software. The NMS communicates 
with the ATX software.
The Network Management, or UART, port is the interface to the Local Console 
Manager (LCM). LCM is a non-intelligent terminal interface that can be used to 
configure and monitor status for the unit.
