Verify that the components listed in 

 shipped with your RoamAbout R2: 

The RoamAbout R2 supports the RoamAbout 802.11a/b/g radio card and the existing 
RoamAbout 802.11a and 802.11b radio cards. There is a separate certification document 
for the 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11a/b/g radio cards. 

Refer to the RoamAbout 802.11a/b/g Radio Certification and Regulatory Information document 
available on the Enterasys Networks Web site:

Note: The RoamAbout 802.11a/b/g radio card, part number RBTBH-R2W, replaced the 
RoamAbout 802.11a and the RoamAbout 802.11b radio cards. The 802.11a and the 
802.11b radio cards are no longer available. 

Note: You must be running RoamAbout R2 Wireless Access Platform firmware Version 
6.xx, or higher, to use the 802.11 a/b/g card. The RoamAbout AP Manager Kit 11.06, or 
higher, contains the latest firmware. To download the latest version of firmware, go to
