Configuration Commands
4.1 Introduction
There are three ways you can gain access to, and alter the software
configuration options on your SBU128;
• 
by direct VT100 terminal access (local connection to the COMMAND
port of your SBU128)
• 
by Talkwire link (from a remote SmartSWITCH BACKUP unit placing
a call to the SBU128, over the ISDN)
• 
by remote Telnet session over the LAN.
In this section we only refer to local terminal access, remote
configuration is covered in more detail later in this manual.
Terminal connection requires that the SBU128 COMMAND port is set to
communicate at 9600 bit/s, no parity, 8 data bits, 1 start bit and 1 stop
bit.  Although the data rate of the port may subsequently be altered by
software command.
