Talkwire Operation
5.1 Introduction
Talkwire is the name given to the communication protocol which enables
remote control and configuration of a remote SBU128 or other Cabletron
SmartSWITCH BACKUP product from the command terminal of your
local SBU128.  You can do this by placing a call over the ISDN network
to the remote unit.
The three primary functions of Talkwire are:
1.  To check that a restored DLC is correctly passing data.
2.  Remote control of an SBU128 from your local SBU128.
3. During backup call to "handshake" with the called SBU128, before
connecting the user to the ISDN, when backing up at 64kbit/s or less.
5.1.1 Line Usage
When using Talkwire, there are three rules of SBU128 operation which
you should remember, to help you to understand the logic behind
messages returned to your terminal screen;
1.  TALKWIRE must be set to enabled at both ends of the required link -
this is the default setting.
2.  Talkwire is mutually exclusive between the DLC and the ISDN.
