Remote Management
26.1 Overview
This chapter provides information on the Remote Management screens.
Remote Management allows you to manage your NBG4615 from a remote location
through the following interfaces:

• LAN and WAN

Note: The NBG4615 is managed using the Web Configurator.
26.2 What You Need to Know
Remote management over LAN or WAN will not work when:

The IP address in the Secured Client IP Address field (
) does not match the client IP address. If it does not match, the NBG4615 will
disconnect the session immediately.

There is already another remote management session. You may only have one
remote management session running at one time.

26.2.1 Remote Management and NAT
When NAT is enabled:
• Use the NBG4615’s WAN IP address when configuring from the WAN.
• Use the NBG4615’s LAN IP address when configuring from the LAN.
• Use the NBG4615’s LAN IP address when configuring from the LAN.
