GENERAL
GENERAL
• Operating and storage temperature 0°C to +45°C.
• Check local laws regarding use of a mobile phone and headset while driving.
• If you use the headset while driving, ensure your attention and focus remain on driving safely.
• Connect the base unit* only to a host terminal port explicitly designated for use with handsets or headsets. Connection
through other ports, such as data ports or line ports, may damage the product and could constitute a fire hazard. If in
doubt, please contact your supplier or the supplier of the host equipment.
• During a power outage, the base unit* will switch to handset mode.
• To prevent temporary malfunction in areas of high electrostatic charge, avoid touching the base unit* charge
contacts.
• Prevent the headset from coming into contact with moisture or liquids.
WARNING
• CHILDREN. Never allow children to play with the headset – small parts may be a choking hazard.
• Observe all signs that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated areas, such
as hospitals, blasting areas, potentially explosive atmospheres, and aircraft.
• On aircraft, obey the airline regulations for use of wireless equipment.
• Keep all products, cords and cables away from operating machinery.
• Never mount or store your headset over any air bag deployment area as serious injury may result when an air
bag deploys.
• Do not insert anything into the headset because this may cause damage to the internal components or cause
injury to you.
BATTERY
CAUTION: The headset is equipped with a non-replaceable battery. To reduce the risk of fire or injury to
persons, read and follow these instructions.
• Do not attempt to open the headset or remove the battery.
• Do not dispose of the headset or battery in a fire. The battery cells may explode. Check local laws for disposal
instructions.
• Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to eyes or skin
and may be toxic if swallowed.
• Charge the headset according to the instructions supplied with the unit.

CHARGING
Warning: Do not disassemble the AC adapter* or base unit* of this product as this may expose you to danger-
ous voltages or other risks. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock or fire when the product is subsequently
used.
CAUTION
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, explosion or fire use only the supplied charger or Class 2 AC adapter* to
charge the headset. Ensure that the voltage rating (e.g.120V 60Hz) corresponds to the local mains supply you
intend to use.
• If the headset becomes hot during charging, disconnect the charger or AC adapter* from the wall and contact
qualified service personnel.
• Do not use the charger, AC adapter* or base unit* outdoors or in damp areas.
CARE
Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners as they may damage the headset or finish of the product. Use a dry
cloth to clean the external portions of the product.
