1. Enter SETTINGS from main menu level.
2.  Use the + / - button to move to DISPLAY and press the : button to enter the 

sub menu. 
(To move to a previous menu, use the 9 button.)

3.  Use the + / - button to select the time the LCD backlight is turned on and press 

the : button to exit to the music playback mode.

You can select between 5 s / 15 s / 30 s / 1 min or ALWAYS ON.
When set to ALWAYS ON, the backlight will be turned on continuously.

Set the contrast:

After 3 seconds of inactivity, the player will automatically return to music 
playback mode.

In order to prevent from unwanted user input while the player is stowed away, 
the device will automatically lock after a certain time. To unlock, double click the 
4 button.

sub menu.  
(To move to a previous menu, use the 9 button.)

3.  Use the + / - button to select the time of inactivity until the MP3 Player is 

locking and press the : button to exit to the music playback mode.

You can select between 5 s / 15 s / 30 s / 1 min or DEACTIVATED.
When set to DEACTIVATED, the player will never be locked.

After 3 seconds of inactivity, the player will automatically return to music 
playback mode.
Double click the 4 button to release the lock feature.
