The Exit button lets you suspend or exit the program. If you suspend navigation, 
when you return, V7 Navigation will continue the navigation as soon as the built-in 
GPS determines the location again. If you exit navigation, the program will need to 
be restarted later. 

Here you can set the languages, measurement units, and date and time formats 
used by V7 Navigation. 

 

This button displays the current written language of the program. By tapping the 
button you can select from a list of available languages. V7 Navigation will have to 
be restarted if you change this setting. V7 Navigation will ask for confirmation before 
it restarts. 

This button shows the current language of the voice guidance. By tapping the button 
you can select from a list of available languages and speakers. 

Your V7 NAV740 device is enabled with Text-To-Speech abilities. This feature is an 
enhancement to the standard Turn-By-Turn voice instructions. Text-To-Speech will 
also state the name of the street or highway where you will take the next action, in 
addition to stating the distance to the next instruction and what action to take. This 
option is automatically set by default. However, to enable Text-To-Speech, you need 
to select a Text-To-Speech or TTS voice. 

Tap any of the languages in the list to hear a sample voice prompt. Then tap OK 
when you have selected the new spoken language.
