Destinator Configurations
The GPS Signal screen displays the following information:

Latitude
x
Speed
x
Altitude
If you are working in the Free Browse Map mode, Destinator automatically disconnects from the GPS
receiver.
Tap the Set button to configure the Connection fields.
Configuring GPS Settings
Enter values to the following settings to best configure your GPS device:
COM Port
This field lets you specify the Communications port.
Baud Rate
This field lets you specify the transmission rate of data.
Protocol
This field displays the GPS protocol. The default setting is NMEA.
GPS Troubleshooting
Signal too low
When you first start Destinator you may hear the "Signal too low" message. This message means that
your navigation device hasn't yet located a reliable GPS signal. Check that your device is connected to a
power source, such as the cigarette lighter and has a clear view of the sky.

Units of Measure
From the Settings menu, tap this button to specify the measurement system you would
like to use.
You can select:

Kilometres, Metres
Time Settings
From the Settings menu, tap this button to display time settings.
