Adjust Speaker Volume
Microsoft Windows CE provides volume adjustment by clicking the “Volume and Sounds” icon
in the Windows CE Control Panel. The volume control adjusts the built in speaker’s volume.

The VX7 includes a customized sound scheme. The customized WAV files are preferable to the
standard Microsoft Windows CE sounds when using the internal speakers.

Power Management
All Power Management is handled through the Microsoft Windows CE Control Panel. Since the
VX7 is externally powered, the only power management configuration is for the display and the
display backlight. Both the display and the display backlight are turned off at the same time. The
time interval can be configured using Start | Settings | Control Panel | Display | Backlight tab.

When enabled, the display and backlight are turned off when the timer expires. The timer is reset
