❒ To use an IEEE 802.11b card for

select “Ad hoc”.

The display returns to the previous
menu in a few seconds.

If “802.11 Ad hoc” or “Ad hoc” is
selected for “Comm. Mode”, set
the channel for transmission.

❒ Check with the network admin-

istrator about the channel to
use.

“Channel”.

B Press {{{{Enter #}}}}.

The channel currently in use ap-
pears on the display.

C Press {{{{U

U}}}} or {{{{T

T}}}} to enter the

channel.

D Press {{{{Enter #}}}}.

Set “Trans. Speed” in the same
way.

Note

❒ Default is “Auto”. If you need to

change the transmitting speed
depending on the environment
you are using, select the appro-
priate speed.

play “SSID”, and then press the
