View and Edit Profile Properties
Ergodex Manager allows you to view the properties of any Program
Profile. First select the Profile from the Program Profile Selection
Box. Next select “View > Profile Properties” from the Ergodex
Manager Menu. A dialog box will display the Profile Name, the
associated program name, and the program path and filename. You
can only edit the Profile name. Once a Profile has been created, you
cannot change the program with which it is associated. If you need a
Profile for a different program, you can create a new Profile and
Import the Macros from the existing Profile.
If you uninstall and reinstall a program that has an associated
Program Profile, an “Update Path” button will become available.
Clicking “Update Path” will allow you to redirect the Program Profile
to the new program location.

You can export your Profiles to share with other Users of the DX1
Input System. Program Profile files are saved with an “.erg”
extension. These “.erg” files can then be used by you or others as a
basis for new Profiles.
To Export a Profile, first select the Profile in the Program Profile
Selection Box. Next select “File > Export Profile” from the Menu.
You will be prompted to provide the name and location for the
exported file. When you click “Save,” the Profile will be exported to
the disk. If you have a Skin associated with the Profile, you will be
asked if you want to include the Skin with the exported Profile.

to share your Macros with other DX1 Input System Users. See

cause damage to your computer system. A Macro can do
anything to your computer that you can do, including changing
data and deleting or installing programs. To prevent harmful or
malicious Macros from running on your machine, you should
only use Profiles and Macros from sources that you trust. Make
sure you examine and understand any Macros that you import
before using them.

to delete. Deleted Profiles are permanently removed from Ergodex
Manager.
You can also delete the current Profile by right clicking the Profile
Name in Program Profile Selection Box and selecting “Delete
Profile.”
The Global Profile cannot be deleted from any User.
