2.a. Quick-and-easy reformatting
You must activate data reformatting if you want to transmit reformatted data
(

1. Activate reformatting and define the input data to be formatted

The "quick-and-easy" reformatting option cancels any values entered with the
Compose Input Barcode Data Length function (

Barcode Data Length code and scan Not Active—Reformat Data

The codes on the next page allow you to extract for transmission 1 or 2 blocks of characters
from the original input string:
1.  Scan Activate "Quick-And-Easy" Reformatting.
2.  Define the first block:
scan Define Start Of Block 1 and scan the ASCII code with the decimal value
corresponding to the position of the first character in Block 1 (

scan Define End Of Block 1 and scan the ASCII code with the decimal value
corresponding to the position of the last char acter in Block 1.
3.  Define the second block if required:
scan Define Start Of Block 2 and scan the ASCII code with the decimal value
corresponding to the position of the first character in Block 2,
scan Define End Of Block 2 and scan the ASCII code with the decimal value
corresponding to the position of the last character in Block 2.
4.  Insert an ASCII string between the two blocks if required:
scan Insert ASCII String Between Blocks,
scan the codes for the ASCII characters you want to insert (maximum = 120
characters) and scan End Selection to finish.
