 Register a Contact
(Up to 106 locations, including home)
  To register the current position
Select [Mark] on the current position 
screen.
   The position of the vehicle mark at that time is 
registered.
Note:
   The registered Contact is marked with a “
”.
  To register on the map screen
Move the cursor to the location to 
register and select [Mark].
   The cursor position is registered.
   Make the setting on a map of 0.5 mile (500 m*) 
or more detailed scale.
  *   This is the scale when “km” is set as the 
distance setting (
 page 84).
Note:
   The registered Contact is marked with a “
”.
  To register from the Navigation 
menu

Select [Address Book] from the 
Setup menu.
   The Address Book screen is displayed.

Select [Register] for “Contacts”.

Search for the location to register.
   Refer to pages 40 – 49 for the search method.
   [Home] is not displayed.

Select [Enter].
   Make the setting on a map of 0.5 mile (500 m*) 
or more detailed scale.

Select [OK].
   Select the items to correct or input. (
 page 64)
Register a location (Contact)
Display the  Edit Contacts screen

Select [Address Book] from the 
Setup menu.
   The Address Book screen is displayed.

Select [Edit] for “Contacts”.
   The Contact list is displayed.

Select a Contact.
   The Edit Contacts screen is displayed.
   The list can be sorted.
 
   [Icon]:    The list is sorted according to the 
type of icon.
 
   [Date]:    The list is sorted in order of 
registration.
  Display from the map screen

Move the cursor to the Contact.
   The Contact name is displayed on the top of 
screen.

Select [Info.].
   The Contact information is displayed.

Select [Edit].
   The Edit Contacts screen is displayed.
  Select [Enter ] to set it as the destination. If 
a destination has already been set, [Add to ] 
or [New ] is displayed. Refer to page 37 for 
details.
Note:
 Please be aware, that in the unlikely event of 
product failure or software malfunction, or in 
cases where your unit needs to be sent in for 
service, saved data in your address book may 
be lost.
