Switch the audio language

If the disc contains multiple audio languages, the audio
language can be switched.

Select [Audio] from Short menu 3.



The audio numbers and languages are displayed.

Select [Audio].



The audio languages switch each time [Audio] is

selected.

The preferred playback language can be set.

Switch the subtitle language

If the disc contains multiple subtitle languages, the
subtitle language can be switched.

Select [SUB-TITLES] from
Short menu 3.



The subtitle numbers and languages are

displayed.

Select [SUB-TITLES].



The subtitle languages switch each time

[SUB-TITLES] is selected.



The subtitle displays toggle between show and

hide each time [Hide] is selected. The switch is
displayed in bold-faced type when the subtitles
are hidden.



In some cases it may take time for the subtitles

to appear.

Switch the angle

If the disc contains multiple angles, the angle can be
switched.

Select [Angle] from Short menu 3.

Select [Angle].



The angle switches each time [Angle] is selected.

Note:

If the multi-angle mark display is switched on under

DVD Setup menu (

page 94), the angle mark is

displayed in the upper right of the screen when angle
switching is possible.

 Audio language, subtitle

language and angle

In some cases it may only be possible to switch these

functions from the top menu or from DVD Setup
menu. (



When the power is turned on or the disc is changed,

the language set under DVD settings is prioritized as
the audio and subtitle language.



The number of audio languages, subtitle languages

and angles varies between discs. Refer to the disc
instructions for details.

Select [TOP MENU] from Short menu 1.



The top menu is displayed.



Short menu 2 is displayed.
