Using the OSD
1. Press
the
MENU
button to open the OSD main menu.
2. Press
X to select the speaker icon and press
ENTER
to open the Sound Menu.
3. Press
T to select Mono/Stereo, then press X or W to select Mono or Stereo. Press
ENTER
to
activate your selection.
4. Press T to select Main/SAP. Then press X or W to select Main or SAP. Press
ENTER
to
activate your selection.
Selecting Closed Captions
“Closed Caption” is a system which allows conversations, narration, and sound effects in TV
programs and home videos to be viewed as text (captions) on the TV screen. This is helpful for
deaf and hard of hearing audiences.

NOTE: Not all programming supports Closed Captioning. Closed Caption can only be used when the
program that you are viewing supports this feature.
You can activate Closed Caption in two ways:
Using the Remote Control
Press the
CC
button on the remote control once or repeatedly to cycle among the available Closed
Caption options.
Using the OSD
1. Press
the
MENU
button to open the OSD main menu.
2. Press the X button twice to select the antenna icon, and press
ENTER
to open the Setup
Menu.
3. Press
T to select Closed Caption.
4. Press
X to select ON. The Closed Caption sub menu will appear.
5. Press
T or S to select the desired Closed Caption mode and press
ENTER
to activate your
selection.
