Using the Safety Cameras 

The  information  provided  by  the 
Safety Cameras Service can be used 
in two different ways: 

  during  navigation  -  you  can  be 

warned  in  advance  that  there 
are  traffic  control  devices  or 
speed limit road segments. 

  during map browsing - you can 

check in advance which are the 
traffic  control  devices  or  speed 
limit  road  segments.  Thus,  you 
can  plan  your  trips  by  taking 
into  account  these  limitations 
and restrictions. 

1.

 

Select Main menu > 

Extras > 

Safety cameras. 

2.

  Scroll the list of services for different regions / countries.  

3.

  Choose  a  region  /  country  and 

open its content. 

4.

  Scroll  the  list  of  traffic  control 

categories. 

5.

   Choose  a  category  (for 

example,

 

Speed 130) and view 

the 

list 

of 

locations 

corresponding to this category. 

6.

  Scroll the list of results.  

 

If  the  list  is  empty,  there  are  two  possible  reasons:  either 
there  is  no  data  available  for  this  category,  or  you  must 
update  the  database!  Refer  to  the  Updating  the  Safety 
Cameras Data chapter for details.
