Cartridge
A print cartridge is not installed.
Install a print cartridge.
Invalid Print 
Cartridge
The print cartridge you have installed is 
not for your machine.
Install a Xerox-genuine print cartridge, 
designed for your machine.
Replace Print 
Cartridge
The print cartridge has almost reached 
its estimated life. The machine might 
stop printing. 
You can choose Stop or Continue as shown 
on the control panel. If you select Stop, the 
printer stops printing and you cannot print 
any more without changing the cartridge. If 
you select Continue, the printer keeps 
printing but the printing quality cannot be 
guaranteed.
Replace the print cartridge for the best print 
quality when this message appears (see 
Replacing the Print Cartridge 
on page 89).
If the machine stops printing, replace the 
print cartridge (see 
Replacing the Print

on page 89).
Order Print 
Cartridge
Small amount of toner is left in the print 
cartridge.
Order a new cartridge for replacement. You 
may temporarily increase the printing 
quality by redistributing the toner (see 
Redistributing Toner 
on page 94).
