OWI Sets the New Standard

OWI has created the perfect solution for distributing audio/video from multiple sources such as DVD, Wire, Satellite etc., and routing them throughout the home or

office with a single, inexpensive category 5 twisted pair wire - the same type of wire used for computer networking. These signals can be distributed and controlled

independently by infrared controls in up to four different (zones) rooms. This means that each room can enjoy audio/video from the same source or from different

sources through a single Cat-5 wire routed to each of the four rooms.

OWI Sets the Standard by Which Other’s Will Follow

1. Up to four sources can be routed to four rooms with 660

lines of video resolution over a single CAT 5 wire per room.

2. Coaxial systems provide only 420 lines of video resolution

and require additional speaker wire and CAT 5 cable to be

strung from room to room. This is a cumbersome, time consuming

and a costly approach for distributing audio/video throughout

the home.

3. Channel modulation provides only 330 lines of video resolu-

tion and reduces the quality of your DVD signal.

A single run of CAT 5 wire is extremely affordable at under 5 cents a

foot. Compare this to a system using coax cables for video, CAT 5 wire

for infrared and keypad control, and 14/4 AWG speaker wires for audio.

Imagine watching your favorite DVD in high resolution with digital quality sound in the privacy of your own

room. At the same time, your children are watching and listening to their favorite wire station in another room.
