The FPBBUL series flat panel carts are made at Bretford’s Chicago

area manufacturing facility using union labor.

The FPBBUL series carts are constructed using “prime” steel which

has a 25% to 35% post-consumer recycled content and an extruded

aluminum which has an average of 90% post-consumer recycled

content. All steel and aluminum components are recyclable at the

end of the product life cycle. FPBBUL series carts are certified to

GREENGUARD Children & Schools Indoor Air Quality standards.

FPBBUL42 Flat Panel Wide Body Carts have been tested by

Underwriter Laboratories and certified to comply with UL standard

1667 for tall institutional carts and is designated for use with flat

panel monitors up to 85 lbs., 38.55 kg. Certified for the United States

and Canadian markets.

Optional electrical assembly includes six (6) grounded outlets, 20 ft.

3-wire power cord, cord winder, and surge/overload protection. Units

attach to pre-drilled holes in the top or middle shelf and are UL listed

when attached to the FPBBUL42 cart. Electrical units are included as

standard on models FPBBUL42-E5BK and model FPBBUL42-M5BK.

The monitor assembly has two arms that secure to the mounting

holes in the back of the monitor and hang on a horizontal plate that

secures to the aluminum pole. Arms are adjustable to fit the

mounting hole pattern on the back of the monitor from 100 mm to

700 mm wide and 100 mm to 400 mm high. A transition plate has

forward tilt adjustment settings of 0º, 7-1/2º or 15º and is designed to

prevent slipping of the monitor’s angle when in transit.

FPBBUL42 carts include two (2) 18-gauge steel 40"w x 27-1/2"d

shelves and one (1) 18-gauge 40"w x 32-1/2"d bottom shelf. Shelves

are press formed with a 1⁄8" lip bordering the top surface on all four

(4) sides to help prevent materials from sliding off. Legs fit flush to

the shelves and interlock with mounting brackets for added strength.

Each corner has 13-gauge steel mounting brackets with 1⁄4" square

head bolts and hex nuts that tighten to hold leg securely to the shelf.

The two (2) 40"w x 27-1/2"d"d shelves have two (2) 3⁄16" diameter

holes centered on both the right and the left side to accept an

optional electrical assembly. Top shelf has reinforced plating on the

underside and mounting holes for an aluminum pole and supports a

handle for pushing the cart. Aluminum mounting pole is 22"l and

allows a flat panel monitor to be mounted to the front side, the back

side includes mounting stops. The front and rear of the pole include a

cord management channel. Legs are 18-gauge 1" square tubular steel.

Each leg is 39-1⁄2" in length and tapered so the top section fastens

to two 40"w x 27-1/2"d shelves and the bottom fastens to a 40"w x

32-1/2"d base shelf. The cart stands 66"h (not including the monitor),

top shelf is 44"h. Plate casters are mar resistant hard black rubber

and measure 5" in diameter. Two (2) casters are fixed and two (2)

swivel and lock. Carts are finished in a durable and environmentally

friendly Black Pumice powder paint. All carts ships knocked down

(KD) in one carton pack and are available to ship via LTL truck.
