In the Microsoft® SQL Server® Enterprise Manager or in the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, create a new
user account with the following properties:

On the server that hosts the BlackBerry® Professional Software, on the taskbar, click Start > Run. Type regedit.

In HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Database, create the
following String values:
• Login: Type the name of the database account that has the required database permissions.
• Password: Type the password for the database account.
