1. Requires Internet connection (broadband recommended) and 

compatible PC or Mac. Internet service may require a fee. Use of 
Reader™  Store limited to U.S./Canada residents age 13 or older. 
Account registration with the Reader™  Store required for access to 
Google Books content. Content availability may be limited based on 
location. 

2. Adobe® PDF, JPEG, RTF, and TXT formats natively supported. Viewing 

Microsoft® Word (PC must have Word installed), HTML, and other files 
requires transfer to Reader through supplied Reader Library software. 

3. Adobe® PDF files look better when optimized with the Reader's screen 

size, and text may appear small if not optimized. 

4. Based on average un-illustrated eBook file size of 1.2 megabytes. 

Actual file sizes vary by digital book title. GB means 1 thousand MB 
when referring to memory capacity. Accessible capacity may vary. 
A portion of memory space is reserved for operating system and 
other system functions.

coverage, wireless usage will consume battery power more quickly.
