If necessary, remove any add-in cards (see
on page 28) to gain access to the battery. You may also need to
disconnect some cables.

Use a flathead screwdriver to push in on the small tab inside the
battery holder to pop out the battery.

Use your fingers to lift out the battery and dispose of it according to
the instructions that came with the new battery.

Insert the new battery into the battery holder, with the plus (+) side
up, and gently press down until the battery snaps into place.

Replace any add-in cards that were removed.

Reconnect any cables that were disconnected.

Reconnect the power cord and turn on the computer.
