Today’s applications demand more bandwidth than ever. That is why MicroNet’s 

PlatinumRAID  family  features  a  state-of-the-art  64-bit  RISC  processor  and 

high-speed  error  correcting  cache.  The  PlatinumRAID  family  includes  four  

models. The PlatinumRAID SATA, PlatinumRAID Ultra320SCSI, PlatinumRAID 

Pro eSATA+FireWire 800+USB 2.0 and the PlatinumRAID FireWire 800+USB 

2.0. All models are hot-swappable, flexible and affordable.

Featuring 5 drives in a small, compact enclosure measuring just 9.5″ x 8.3″ x 1 2 ″,  

MicroNet’s PlatinumRAID family is barely bigger than some hard drives. With a 

light-weight aluminum and Plexiglas enclosure, the fully populated unit weighs  

approximately  20lbs  and  includes  an  integrated  arched  handle  for  the  

ultimate in portability.

The  PlatinumRAID  family  handles  RAID  levels  0,  1,  3,  5,  0+1,  and  JBOD  

configurations. When set to level 3 or 5, hot spare support, Independent Fault  

Isolation and Automatic Data Regeneration features ensures that access to data 

is uninterrupted even in the event of a drive failure and allows drive modules to be  

“hot-swapped” without rebooting.
