If water enters the case, check the seal and 
make sure that the case closes properly (

 

10).  If the cause of the leak can not be deter-
mined, take the FJ-CP1 to a Nikon-authorized 
service representative.

1. Turn the camera on
2. Adjust settings
3. Take pictures

1. Wash the case in fresh water
2. Wipe dry
3. Remove the camera
4. Soak the FJ-CP1 in fresh water for 2–3 hours
5. Wipe dry
6. Let dry in the shade
