Correcting White Balance

White balance can be manually corrected in [ ] mode (= 116).
This adjustment can match the effect of using a commercially
available color-compensating filter.

Choose [ ].

Follow steps 1 – 2 in “Specific
Scenes” (= 116) and choose
[ ].

Choose white balance.
z
Press the [ ] button, and then
choose [ ] in the menu.

Adjust the setting.
z
Turn the [ ] ring to adjust the
correction level for B and A, and
then press the [ ] button.
z
Once the setting is complete, [ ]
is displayed.

B represents blue, and A represents amber.
●
White balance can also be manually corrected by recording
custom white balance data (= 178) before following the
preceding steps.
