4.4.3 “SEMI-SERIES” mode:
Like the series mode, there are two types of semi-series mode:
- "continuous semi-series" mode: To bind an undefined series of identical books.
The series mode is permanently selected.
- "preset semi-series" mode: For a defined number of identical books.
The series mode is selected for a defined number of jobs
(configurable via the UI).
As a reminder, the
"SEMI-SERIES" mode is used when the operator wishes to produce a
series of books with identical formats but different thicknesses. In this case, starting from the
second book, the binder picks up a cover before the operator has placed any paper in the
carriage jaws. This increases the productivity of the binder.
The use of the semi-series mode is identical to that of the series mode.
