NOTE
If a stapling option is selected, each subset is stapled. If a subset option from
the Offset menu is selected, each subset is offset. If a staple and a subset option
from the Offset menu are selected, each subset will be stapled and offset.
• Subsets:  Select Subsets if you want to print subsets within a single print job. Each
subset must contain the same number of pages.
• Pages Per Subset: Enter the number of pages to be included in each document
subset or stapled set. The maximum number of pages is 99,999.
NOTE
Stapling is available with the Offset option, but Booklet Fold is not supported.
The top tray on the Xerox system does not support Offset.
Pads Dialog Box
Appears when you select Pads from the Finishing menu on the 
.
Use this dialog box to create pads of single sheet forms. Typically a pad has a card
stock back cover and a glued binding on the top edge. Forms can be torn off the pad
when needed.
Options available are:
• Pads: Select from one of the following:
-
Printer Enabled: Allows the printer queue setting to apply to the job.
-
Disabled: No pad printing.

Enabled: Printing pads is enabled.
• Number of Pads: Type a number or use the arrows to select the number of pads
desired. You can also select Printer Default to print the number of pads based
on the system default.
• Sheets Per Pad: Type a number or use the arrows to select the number of pages
per pad desired. You can also select Printer Default to print the number of pages
per pad based on the system default.
NOTE
The Copies number is determined by the Number of Pads multiplied by the Pages
Per Pad. As a result, if you want 10 pads and there are 5 pages per pad, Copies
is automatically set to 50.
• Back Cover:  Select the type of back cover desired. Select from:

Printer Default
-
No Back Cover
-
Blank Back Cover
-
Printed Back Cover
• [Paper]: From the Paper menu, select the desired stock, if any, for the back cover.
