NOTE
Some features are only supported by specific printers, operating systems, or
driver types (PostScript or PCL). You may see more features or options listed than
what your specific system supports.
• Paper Weight (gsm): Specify a custom weight. If you specify a paper / media
weight not currently loaded in the printer, the job will be held in the printer until
the required paper / media is loaded in one of the trays. Type a new weight, or
use the arrows to specify a weight, in the Paper Weight (gsm) box.
Advanced Paper Selection Dialog Box
Appears when you select Advanced Paper Selection in the Paper menu on the
Use this dialog box to set the characteristics for the body pages in your printed
documents. A summary of your selections is shown in the Paper Summary box.
NOTE

Options available are:
• Use Name Only (Expert): Can contain up to 10 of the last names entered by the
user. Selecting this option disables all the other controls.

Clear List: Clears all names from this menu.
• Paper Size: Lists all paper sizes supported by the printer.

New: Creates a new Custom Size.

Edit: Edits a selected Custom Size.

Delete: Deletes a selected Custom Size.
• Paper Color: Lists the standard and custom paper colors supported by your Xerox
system.
• Paper Type: Lists the standard and custom paper types supported by your Xerox
system.
• Hole Punched Paper: Specifies if hole punched paper is required for the entire
print job.

Printer Default or Use Job Setting for Special Pages.

No: No hole punched paper is required for the print job.

Yes: Hole punched paper is required to print the job.
• Paper Weight (gsm): Specifies the weight of the paper required for the print job.
• Sides Coated: Indicates whether the paper is coated or uncoated, and whether
one or both sides of the page are coated.

Printer Default or Use Job Setting for Special Pages.

Uncoated: The named paper has no coating.

One Sided: One side of the named paper is coated.

Two Sided: Both sides of the named paper is coated.
