Background Form Dialog Box
Select Setup from the Background Form menu on the 
.
Background forms enable you to create new forms or use existing forms that can
then be merged with variable data in a print job.
From the Form Name drop-down list, select:
• <a form name>: Type an existing form name.
• <a previously used form name>: The last 10 entered form names are available
in this list.
Other options include:
• Apply Form Pages: Select how the background form will be applied to the job
output:

Throughout Job: The background form will be applied will be applied to the
foreground job until the foreground job printing is completed.

Once: The number of pages in the background form will be applied only once
to the foreground job. Any remaining pages in the foreground job will be
printed without the background form.

Once, Then Repeat: The number of pages in the background form will be
applied and then repeated until the foreground job printing is completed. You
can specify which page of the background form will be used as a starting point
after the background form has been used once by type a number or using the
arrows in the From Form Page box.
• Image Shift: Specify the amount of shift in the X or Y axis. The number specified
is based on the Units selected.
• Units: Specify the units of measure to use for the Image Shift feature. The
available selections are Inches and Millimeters.
