OPI Prescan

OPI (Open Prepress Interface) Prescan provides a preview of the output.
Options available are:
Scan: Locates high resolution files for the print document. The path for the files is
preserved or recorded.
Gather: Locates and retrieves high resolution files for the print document.
OPI Substitution
.
OPI (Open Prepress Interface) Substitution is used to replace low resolution images
(draft images or image placeholders) with high resolution images when the document
is printed. This substitution helps to save or minimize the print server storage space
and network resources required for storing and processing high resolution images.
Options available are:
Enable: Instructs the print server to process OPI comments and replace low resolution
images with high resolution images in the print document.
Disable: Does not process OPI comments and prints the low resolution images in
the print document.
Output Options
 (in the Paper/Output folder).
This dialog enables you to control the manner in which your documents are delivered
to the printer's output tray. Click Setup to set the output option.
Options available are:
Printer Default: The document is delivered according to the default printer settings.
Face Down: The document is delivered face down in the output tray; when viewed,
pages are in ascending (1, 2, 3) order.
Face Up: The document is delivered face up in the output tray; when viewed, pages
are in ascending (1, 2, 3) order.
Face Down, Reverse Order: The document is delivered face down in the output tray;
when viewed, pages are in descending (3,2,1) order.
Face Up, Reverse Order: The document is delivered face up in the output tray; when
viewed, pages are in descending (3,2,1) order.
