When you use the Pages to Print functionality, the entire print job is sent to the print
server and the Pages to Print range is contained in the Xerox Job Ticket. Because the
print server receives the information for the entire job, the total page count remains at
50, the special page is still programmed on page 30, and the information in the job
ticket instructs the print server to print only pages 25 through 50. Do not enable the
Pages to Print feature if you are printing with multi-up or booklet layout functionality.
The page numbers specified in the From/To field will not directly correspond to page
numbers in the document and may result in unexpected output.
Options available are:
Pages to Print (Expert): Select the Pages to Print check box to enable this feature in the
driver rather than specifying the print range on the application’s Print dialog.
From/To: Enter the range of pages from the document to print.
PCL Paper Trays
 (in the Paper/Output folder).
Enables you to assign specific paper attributes to each virtual PCL paper tray.
Any document using one of these trays will use the settings you specify rather than the
PCL paper tray settings assigned to the queue. Select a paper tray in the PCL Tray Name
list then choose an option from the Select Paper menu. Your selections appear in the
PCL Tray Summary box.
Click Setup to choose PCL paper tray options.
Options available are:
• PCL Tray Name: The PCL Tray Name list identifies the virtual paper trays to which
you can assign particular paper stocks for printing.
• Select Paper: Select Paper lets you specify the paper to use for a print job. Any paper
specifications appear in the paper summary box on the active tab or dialog.
Choose an option from each category, or choose Advanced to define all options at
once on the Advanced Paper Selection dialog.
Some printers enable you to assign custom names and characteristics to paper types
you use in your organization that are not preprogrammed into the printer. Use the
Set Up Named Paper and/or Custom Name options to customize paper types. To
select paper for individual pages or groups of pages within a document, choose
Special Pages and set up covers, inserts, or exception pages.
• PCL Tray Summary: This field shows the particular paper assigned to each PCL paper
tray.
NOTE
This feature is only supported on PCL print drivers.
