the 

Table Reference Code checkbox to ‘On’ if required. 

The default is Off. 

5. Set 

the 

record length of the records in the input data file. If 

the records are fixed length records, type in the value. If the 
records are variable length, set the value to 0 (zero). 

 

Either ASCII or EBCDIC files can be used; the proofing 
program automatically detects the type. 

6.  Set the directory for AFP formatted fonts. To change the 

value either type it directly or click on the browse button and 
select. 

7.  Set the directory for AFP formatted page segments 

(pictures). To change the value either type it directly or click 
on the browse button and select. 

8.  Set the directory for AFP formatted OVE’s (forms). To 

change the value either type it directly or click on the browse 
button and select. 

9.  To start the Data Proofing, click OK. 

AppBuilder builds the parameter file for the program based on 
current settings and invokes the Elixir Viewer
