Is paper damp?

Use paper from a new package.

Are you losing image at left
or right edges of a 1-sided
print?

Are you losing image at left
or right edges of a 2-sided
print?

If image loss is no more than
2.5 mm on either side of a 1-
sided print, the printer is
working correctly.

If image loss is no more than
4.0 mm on either side of a 2-
sided print, the printer is
working correctly.

Lead edge distortion on
output prints.

Are you getting image loss
on 1-sided prints?

The allowable image loss
from lead edge is up to 3
mm.

The allowable image
degradation from the lead
edge is up to 4 mm.

Are you getting image loss
on 2-sided prints?

 The allowable image loss
from lead edge is up to 3
mm.

The allowable  image
degradation

edge is up to 5 mm.

Print is wiped off easily.

Is  the  paper  damp?

Use paper from a new
package.
