Methods for Obtaining the QR Code App

There are three methods to obtain the QR Code App:

• The QR Code App is preloaded (already installed) on the multifunction printer (MFP):

Users do not need to manually download and install it from Xerox

App Gallery.

By default, the App is ready to use on the MFP.

• Download the QR Code App from Xerox App Gallery App:

The Xerox App Gallery App is preloaded (already installed) on the MFP.

By default, the Xerox App Gallery App is preinstalled and available on all MFPs which have the
software for 2016 ConnectKey Technology enabled MFPs.

Users must have an App Gallery account in order to log into Xerox App Gallery App and download
/ install the QR Code App.

Installing the QR Code App from Xerox App
Gallery App

The following procedure provides instructions for installing the QR Code App by using the Xerox App
Gallery App on the MFP.

For instructions on installing Apps via the Xerox App Gallery Web Portal, refer to the Xerox App Gallery
User Guide.

• If the QR Code App is already installed on the MFP, go to

1. From the MFP home screen, select the Xerox App Gallery App icon.
2. Login in to your App Gallery account by entering your User Name and Password .
3. Browse for the QR Code App.
4. Select Install .
