Setting up a remote file server

Complete the following steps at the remote file server:
1. Using Computer Management, create an XDL_ADMIN
account.
NOTE: The password for the XDL_ADMIN account must be
the same password for the XDL_ADMIN account on the
DigiPath host server.

2. Share the folder on the remote file server.
a. Using Windows Explorer, right click on the folder and
select [Properties]. Share the folder, but do not use
XDLCabinets as the share name.

b. Select the [Sharing] tab.
c. Mark the Share this folder radio button.
NOTE: Make sure the folder name does not contain the
word “XDLCabinets” in the name.

d. Select [Permissions].
e. Assign full control for the folder to the XDL_Admin.
