This trap configuration registers the selected device. Only 

one device can be selected at a time. 

 

To use the Single Selection configuration, perform the 

following steps: 

Select a Xerox device. 

Select the Tools -> Xerox Trap UnRegistration ->   

The status of Trap Registration is shown in the pop-up  

     message box.

The Xerox device will be configured to recognize the  

  managing workstation.

 

The SNMP information for that device will be captured  

     and displayed in the All Alarms Browser for the  
     managing workstation. 

 

 

Using the UnRegister All Device tool will cause all 
discovered Xerox devices to be unregistered for traps. 

This will prevent the device from sending traps to the 

NetView server. 

 

To use Unregister All Devices, perform the following 

steps: 

Select a Xerox device.

 

Select the Tools menu, Xerox Trap   

UnRegistration, and UnRegister All Devices. 

The status of Trap Registration for all devices is  

     shown in the pop-up message box.

 The managing workstation will be removed from all  

     discovered and managed Xerox networked devices.

 

Traps will no longer be sent from the print device.   

Status will be maintained by polling.
