Chapter 11  Troubleshooting
Since a meeting may continue beyond the expected end time if
some participants have forgotten to disconnect from the meeting,
use the MeetingTime In-Session tab to verify that no one is in the
meeting, and terminate the meeting manually.
Meeting recordings are converted into the desired audio format
before they can be posted. During the conversion process, you
will see a “Processing Now…” status. In comparison with other
MeetingPlace services, the audio services’ conversion process
takes a lower priority; therefore, during the peak hours of
MeetingPlace usage, audio files will be converted and posted at a
much slower pace.
If you are experiencing problems, perform the following checks:
Verify that MeetingPlace Replication Service and
MeetingPlace Audio Services are running.
Verify that the meeting is scheduled with recording features:
“Record Meeting” must be set to YES.
“Auto Start Meeting Recording” may be set to YES or NO. If
this parameter is set to YES, recording will auto-start when
the second participant enters the meeting. If it is set to NO,
participants must manually start the recording (by pressing
#61 on the phone or by using the recording icon/button in
MeetingTime or MeetingPlace Web).
Go to the MeetingTime Review tab. Select your meeting and
click the Attachments button. If the recording attachment
shows a length of 0, recording space was reserved but
participants did not turn on the recording.
Verify that the base path and host name fields in the Audio
Encoding Services Configuration window contain the correct
information. Refer to Appendix D for details.
