This preface describes the Statistics and Counters Reference and its document conventions. 

This document provides descriptive information for the various non-MIB forms of statistics, often called counters, 
generated by StarOS. In this document, these statistics are divided into two categories: bulk statistics and statistics 
output by CLI show commands.
