announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco Catalyst
6000 8-Port Voice T1/E1 and Services Module. The last day to order the Cisco Catalyst
6000 8-Port Voice T1/E1 and Services Module is August 27, 2007. Customers with active
service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life
milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco Catalyst 6000 8-Port Voice T1/E1 and
Services Module. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to one of the following platforms:

The Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Communication Media Module (CMM), for WAN routing,
telephony, and high-density switching support. Virtually all the capabilities of the WS-
X6608-T1 and WS-X6608-E1, plus a wide range of additional services, are supported by

The Cisco 2800 and 3800 Series Integrated Services Routers for WAN routing, telephony,
