The reboot portion of the update includes a database check. If errors are found during the database check, the update requires additional

Product Compatibility After Updating to Version 5.4.0.6 and Version 5.4.1.5
You must use at least Version 5.4.1 of the Defense Center to manage devices running Version 5.4.1.4. To manage an ASA FirePOWER
module on an ASA5506-X,ASA5506W-X, ASA5506H-X, ASA5508-X, ASA5516-X, or ISA 3000 device, you must use at least Version
5.4.1 of the Defense Center.

Caution:
If you update the Defense Center to Version 5.4.1.5, Cisco strongly recommends updating all registered devices to Version 5.4.0.5.
Failing to update registered devices to Version 5.4.0.5 may cause traffic outages.

If you update the system to Version 6.0 from Version 5.4.0.5 or earlier, the system experiences issues processing traffic. If you
plan on updating the system to Version 6.0, you must update the managed devices to at least Version 5.4.0.6 prior to updating to Version 6.0
