announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for Cisco IOS
®
Software Release 12.1E. This
announcement applies to all releases of Release 12.1E. The last day to order the affected product is March 15, 2007.
Maintenance rebuilds and software fixes will no longer be available via Release 12.1E beyond March 15, 2008.
Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) until March 15, 2012.
Please note that hardware end-of-sale and end-of-life dates take precedence over Release 12.1E milestone dates in this document. For
example, Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Supervisor Engine 1A milestone dates precede the ones shown in this bulletin, and are the dates to
be applied.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected
by this announcement.
