UDP length parameter in Atomic engines
A new parameter to match a specific UDP length was added. This engine parameter is added in
the Atomic IP Advanced and Atomic IP engine for l4-protocol UDP. The purpose of this
parameter is to check if UDP total length falls within a specific range.

For IPS standalone appliances with 1 G and 10 G fixed or add-on interfaces, the maximum jumbo frame
size is 9216 bytes.

The IDM and JRE 1.7
Symptom
Cannot launch the IDM.
Conditions
When the IDM is running under JRE 1.7 and the IPS version is 7.1.5 or earlier.
Workaround
Use JRE 1.6 or enable the SSL 2.0-compatible ClientHello format in the Java settings in the
Control Panel.

For IPS 7.1(6) and later, the IDM functions with JRE 1.7.
